• To book you can email us here with your preferred dates or click on our booking page.

  • We ask for a 10% deposit when you book, with the balance due 7 days before arrival.

    If you cancelyour booking more than 7 days before arrival the deposit you’ve paid will be refunded.

    Cancellations or changes made within 7 days of arrival will result in any monies paid being lost. For this reason we recommend that you take out travel insurance.

  • Between October and April we provide a starter basket of firewood, together with kindling and firelighters, for use in the wood burning stoves.

    If you need more wood then contact our resident caretaker to purchase it.

  • We regret that, due to insurance restrictions, we are unable to offer barbecue facilities at Cherry Grove.

  • Children will love the gardens at Cherry Grove but there are no special facilities for children (stairguard, child locks on cupboards etc).

    We cannot provide baby cots but you are welcome to bring your own

  • We love dogs b ut regret that, due to the proximity of livestock and other animals on the site, we cannot allow any pets on the premises.

  • You’ll set an email before your arrival with all the infromation you need about your stay. This will included details of how to pick up the keys.

    In most instances you’ll be met by a member of our friendly team who can show you around and give you the keys.

  • There are other buildings on the Cherry Grove estate, included a barn which is occupied by our caretaker and a large paddock. These aren’t accessible to our guests but you’ll have more than enough garden to explore and enjoy!

  • Yes we do have Wifi and will provide the code in your pre-arrival email.

    Because we’re in such a rural spot we rely on satellite broadband. The speed and quality of signal may be affected by weather or other factors.

  • We understand that a certain amount of wear and tear is inevitable and this applies to the odd smashed glass or broken plate.

    However, if something does get damaged during your stay do let us know ASAP so that it can be fixed or replaced. We do reserve the right to charge for more serious damage and breakages such as incidents to carpets, furniture, electrical and kitchen equipment, broken windows etc.

  • Our caretaker lives on site and will be avaialble in emergencies. However their other duties mean that they may not be around at all times.

  • In general we have a 3 night minimum stay.

  • We operate a strict no-smoking policy throughout the interior of Cherry Grove.

    We make a charge of up to £250 for cleaning where the no-smoking policy has been violated.
